2022 SSFA Competition Update (13 April)

Assuming there is no further loss of rounds due to wet weather, the following will occur:

Saturday Competition teams (Including MiniRoos) will play 18 rounds of football in 2022; and

Sunday Competition teams will play 17 rounds of football in 2022.

The Final Series will be played on the following dates :

Semi Finals 20th / 21st August 2022

Finals 27th / 28th August 2022

Grand Finals 3rd / 4th September 2022

For ease of reference the dates for the next four rounds are listed as follows:

Saturday Competitions and Mini Roos

Saturday 16 APRIL –Easter break i.e. no SSFA football will be played

Saturday 23 APRIL – Round 4 will be played. Last weekend of school holidays.

Saturday 30 APRIL – Round 1 rescheduled to this date

Saturday 7 MAY – Round 2 rescheduled to this date

Saturday 14 MAY – Round 3 rescheduled to this date

Sunday Competitions

Sunday 17 APRIL – Easter break i.e. no SSFA football will be played

Sunday 24 APRIL – Round 4 will be played.

Sunday 1 MAY – Round 1 rescheduled to this date

Sunday 8 MAY – Round 2 rescheduled to this date (Mothers Day)

Sunday 15 MAY – Round 3 rescheduled to this date

Regrading decisions for Saturday and Sunday competitions will now be moved back accordingly (still dependent upon the first four rounds being played). Note that Regrading after four (4) rounds also prohibits further rounds (i.e. Round 5 onwards) from being published.
