As the Level 1 Training Guidelines stipulate maximum of 10 people (players and coach) training per quarter of the field, we have needed to make slight adjustments to times or field allocation so there is no overlap of teams. The following teams have had a slight adjustment:
Tuesday - time change only
7C - 5pm to 6pm (1A)
13C - 6pm to 7pm (1A)
W38A - 7.30pm to 8.30pm (1C)
Wednesday - No changes
Thursday - time change only
W21B - 7pm to 8pm (1A)
AL11 - 8pm to 9pm (1A)
11F - 6pm to 7pm (1B)
15A/2 - 6pm to 7pm (1D)
9E/1 - 6pm to 7pm (2B)
W10B - 7pm to 8pm (2B)
35C - Field change only 2B to 2C/2D (no time change)
Teams Greater than 10 in number will need to split in to two separate training groups Team A and Team B - 9 players + coach in each team. Splitting training time in half eg. training for an hour Team A first 30 mins; Team B next 30mins THERE ARE TO BE NO GROUPS CROSSING OVER. Team A TRAINS AND LEAVES and Team B ARRIVES, TRAINS AND LEAVES.
Sutherland Shire Council and SSFA have given us the green light on training. Training can commence as of Tuesday, 2 June 2020 on the proviso that the Level 1 Return to Training Guidelines are followed to the letter. These Guidelines were provided to coaches and Manages that collected training kits on Saturday. A PDF copy of the Level 1 Return to Training Guidelines together with Return to Training - Record of Attendance will be sent to ALL coaches/managers via email over the coming days.
For the coaches and managers that did not collect their kit bags we will open the clubhouse for 1 HOUR ONLY Monday, 1 June between 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Again, we ask that either coach or manager (NOT both) come to the clubhouse to collect kit bags/balls and pertinent "Return to Training" information at that time.
In readiness for the return to training we ask that either coach or manager (NOT both) come to the clubhouse to collect kit bags/balls and pertinent "Return to Training" information on Saturday, 30th May between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
Please be mindful of social distancing and only TWO coaches/managers in the clubhouse at any one time. Enter clubhouse via field entrance.
CJFC wish to advise commencement of TRAINING IS NOT YET PERMITTED. Council will advise SSFA when training can commence. We are presently ensuring that all protocols are in place and all training sessions are conducted in line with NSW Public Health Orders.
Communication will be sent to coaches/managers and players outlining guidelines for training in due course.
THE FOLLOWING RECEIVED FROM SUTHERLAND SHIRE COUNCIL..
The NSW Government has moved forward to Phase 1 of easing restrictions from Friday 15th May 2020.
At this stage the lifting of restrictions does NOT include community sport.
Whilst we are aware that the NSW Government has allowed gatherings of up to 10 people in outdoor spaces, it is understood until such time as a “Return to Play” implementation plan and guidelines have been endorsed by the Office of Sport ( for each individual sport) no organised training or competition is to take place.
Please also be aware that your sporting insurance may not cover those that train against advice.
Council is hopeful that over the coming weeks the NSW State Guidelines will be provided, a local guideline/implementation plan for each sport will be developed and we can work with each sport to transition training and start the season.
We will be working with your association and will continue to provide updates as and when the guidelines become avail...
The below information in from the Office of Sport:
The NSW Government notes that National Cabinet endorsed the Framework for Rebooting Sport in a COVID-19 Environment developed by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) on Friday 1 May 2020.
The NSW Public Health Order signed on the 30th of March 2020, remains in force and prohibits exercise in groups of greater than two.
The NSW Government is considering these issues alongside other restrictions and will update the community should any changes to the Public Health Orders be made.
It is expected that further decisions will be made this forthcoming Friday (8 May) by the National Cabinet which is likely to then instigate a review by each State before ultimate decisions are made. We will keep you posted as definitive information comes to hand from the governments and/ or their Health Departments.
